Strange New Worlds Sets Reveal, Season 2 Renewal

Paramount+ will be staying in the “Star Trek”business for quite some time. Tuesday’s announcement by the streaming service indicated that it had already renewed its subscription “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” for a second season, months before the show’s series premiere. In addition, “Star Trek: Discovery”Season 4 has already been renewed, and the fifth season of this series has already begun.

Paramount+ also stated “Strange New Worlds”This episode will debut on Thursday, 5 May 2005. The next episodes will be available weekly on Thursdays.

In the meantime, the second season “Star Trek: Picard”The show will debut on Thursday, March 3. New episodes will drop weekly on Thursdays. The show’s third season is currently in production.

Also, as was previously announced “Star Trek: Discovery”Season 4 will launch on Paramount+ Thursday, February 10, with new episodes each week.

Paramount+ has also scheduled the return to animated comedy “Star Trek: Lower Decks.”The 10-episode season 3 of the series will feature Starfleet officers at lower ranks aboard an unimportant exploratory vessel. It will air sometime in Summer 2022.

“Star Trek: Strange New Worlds”The adventures of the USS Enterprise, under Captain Christopher Pike’s command, are covered about a decade prior to the events in the original series. The series stars Anson Mount as Pike and Rebecca Romijn as Number 1. Ethan Peck plays the Science Officer Spock.

Henry Alonso Myers and Akiva Goldsman are co-showrunners. Goldsman (Alex Kurtzman) and Jenny Lumet (Jenny Lumet) serve as executive producers along with Alonso Myers and Heather Kadin, Rod Roddenberry and Trevor Roth, Aaron Baiers and Aaron Baiers. It’s produced by CBS Studios, Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment.

“Strange New Worlds”Paramount+ will stream the show in the U.S., Latin America, and Australia. It will air in Canada on CTV Sci-Fi Channel, while Crave will stream it in Canada. Further global release plans will be announced later.
