Apple Original Films purchased a documentary about NBA and Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry. “Underrated”This is being produced and distributed by A24. “Black Panther”Apple announced Wednesday the appointment of Ryan Coogler as a filmmaker.
Peter Nicks will produce and direct the film.“The Force,” “Homeroom”) and produced by Coogler for his Proximity Media, as well as Curry’s own Unanimous Media. “Underrated” is being made under Unanimous Media’s first look production deal with A24.
“Underrated” will follow Curry’s historic success during the 2008 March Madness NCAA Tournament, as well as his record-shattering and game-changing playing style that turned him from an overlooked prospect to an NBA legend. His incredible 2022 run that earned him his fourth NBA title, and his first NBA Finals Most Valuable Player award, is the culmination of the film.

“Underrated”It is named for Steph Curry’s Underrated TourCurry offers training programs specifically for high school athletes with a three star prospect rating. This is just like he was as a senior in North Carolina high school.
“Underrated” also follows A24’s docuseries for Apple TV+ called “Home,”The streamer just launched Season 2 of its streaming service.
