Madeleine Colbert’s Career as a Producer of News
Madeleine earned a Bachelor of Arts in History at Yale University with an honorary degree. She remained active throughout her education, contributing to The Yale Herald as well the Mock Trial Team at Yale, Broadcasting Company of Yale, and Undergraduate Prison Project.
In 2016, she was promoted to the position of Editor-in Chief at The Politic (Yale’s long-running political journal). In the year following, she worked as a production intern at CBS News’ “60 Minutes.” She now works there as Deputy Editor. Assisting Producer.
Madeleine was a reporter and staff writer for TIME and a politics editorial fellow for The Atlantic before taking on her current position. She has recently GLAAD Awards Covering the harassment of transgender youth by pediatricians.
