Stephen Colbert stated Logan Paul “getting punched in the head”A boxing match was a memorable sports moment.

Wednesday night’s episode “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert,”During a segment, where he spoke about the renaming of the Staples Center Los Angeles to Crypto.com arena, comedian and talkshow host, KSI referenced Paul’s boxing match with Olajide Olatunji or the YouTuber KSI.

“The Staples Center had so many great sports memories,”On the show, he listed as examples Kobe Bryant’s 81 point win against Toronto Raptors (January 2006) and the LA Kings’ Stanley Cup victory against New Jersey Devils (June 2012).

“Logan Paul getting punched in the head,”Colbert then added to the crowd’s loud applause.

The show then showed a slow motion clip of Olatunji punching Paul on the side of his head during the boxing bout at the Staples Center on November 9, 2019.

Paul and Olatunji, along with Jake’s brother Jake are both YouTubers who entered the world boxing.

The Staples Center was built in 1999. It is the home of the Los Angeles Kings, Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers NBA teams and the Los Angeles Sparks WNBA team. Crypto.com, a cryptocurrency exchange company based in Singapore, reportedly reached a $700m deal with AEG to secure the arena’s name rights for 20 years. According to The Los Angeles Times.
