Diane was quick to respond when Ashley choked on a grape in Society. That happened because Davidson’s character was attempting to be a smart aleck.

The grape was not properly chewed by her.
Diane faked death many years ago, when Jack’s child was still a youngster. Walters’ character left Genoa City, Wisconsin, and eventually landed in Los Angeles, California.
Taylor Jensen lived as a pseudonym until she made her presence known last year.
The intensity of Ashley’s distrust for Diane increased since she moved back to GC. The fallout included Ashley and Jack’s sibling connection being badly damaged.
Y&R Spoilers – Tucker McCall Urges His Wife To Chill
Tucker transformed into his own after returning To town. After Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper’s) death, he left GC on bad terms.
Tucker played around with Diane as a married man, and even newer viewers have learned this.
Ashley never married again because she was devastated at the breach of trust. Tucker’s return produced outward agitation and an attempt at indifference.
As the plot developed, Ashley and Tucker re-established their trust and love.
Along with the reconciliation and as part of Tucker’s desire to change, he has been encouraging Ashley to steer clear of Diane and to avoid conflict at Jabot.

Diane may have saved Ashley’s life. Although Ashley doesn’t know exactly what happened or still uses the Heimlich term, it is not possible to tell if anyone else in Society could have done the Heimlich.
Ashley seems to be past the stage of wanting Jack and Diane to get together.
Following Tucker’s advice and using the patents Jack returned to her as a gift on her remarriage day, Simply Ashley is projected as her new business venture and Ashley living a simpler life appears possible on Y&R.
