General Hospital (GH), Tuesday 8th August, tease, help wanted, hot seat and horribly guilty.
Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) requests help, Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) in the hot seat, and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) feels horrible guilt.
General Hospital Spoilers – Help Wanted
Cody, after a failed attempt to get help from Diane Miller’s (Carolyn Hennesy), as well as being rejected by Ferncliff Nurse Janice to meet Sasha (Lauren Swickard), talks with Brook Lynn Quartermaine.
Brook Lynn, who is in the Quartermaine Mansion’s living room at the time, says that Brook Lynn sounds a bit shady when he uses such words.
Cody fears for Sasha because, he believes that something is indeed shady going on. He refuses to file charges against the PCPD or work with them regarding his stabbing.
Cody and Brook Lynn work on a plan to get Cody into Ferncliff to see Sasha and somehow bypass Gladys Corbin’s (Bonnie Burroughs) very strict visitor list. Brook Lynn will find a way to cause some kind of distraction because she one hundred percent agrees with Cody’s theory.
GH Spoilers – Decisions, Decisions
At the hospital, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) continues to talk with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) about Cyrus’ request to give away all his money to start a halfway house.
This will help reintegrate them into society. They’ll be given the tools to succeed.
Martin obviously has his doubts and asks Cyrus if he’s sure he made the right decision. Perhaps it’s Cyrus’ motives he doubts more than he doubts the idea itself.
General Hospital Spoilers – Hot Seats
Valentin’s on the hot seat at Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) house as she found there was one common link between the WSB, Pikeman, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Valentin is the link, and after telling him she thought she knew who shot at her and telling him he knew too, she asks if he’s keeping something from her.
Valentin did work as a logistics coordinator for Pikeman back in his old mercenary days, and apparently that’s why they made him their go-between between him and Sonny.
Valentin might have a difficult time explaining to Anna just why he’s their go-between with Sonny, after not having had anything to do with them for years.
Valentin will not be able to understand why Anna is suspicious.
GH Spoilers – Hamilton Finn And Elizabeth Baldwin’s Close Moment
Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), and Elizabeth Baldwin, (Rebecca Herbst), share an intimate moment at the hospital. But she has second thoughts.
Finn could have asked her what was wrong or noticed a hesitation in her and interrogated her.
It’s understandable that she might want to move slow as well as he does. They could get further in their relationship, if only they didn’t fear it.
General Hospital Spoilers – Well?
Back in Cyrus’ room he and his brother Martin continue to discuss Cyrus’ request. Martin tells him to simply tell him that Cyrus has fulfilled his request, but Martin’s response suggests otherwise.
That is a big decision so it would be in Cyrus’ best interest to think about it and not be impulsive, based on a near-death experience.
Martin and Cyrus may continue to debate the request Cyrus made. It may take more than one visit to the hospital for this issue to be resolved.
GH Spoilers – Tracy Quartermaine’s Shocking Decision
Tracy Quartermaine, played by Jane Elliot in this episode of Quartermaine Kitchen shocks Olivia Quartermaine.
Olivia is Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) wife, so if anyone should make a decision like this it’s her, not his mother.
Tracy makes a pronouncement that it’s time to have Ned committed to a mental health facility. Olivia will be sure to argue about that, at least while Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) is still out of town and can’t reevaluate Ned.
General Hospital Spoilers – Horrible Guilt
Sasha is in bad shape in Ferncliff, looking like she’s huddled against a wall, screaming that she never meant to hurt someone. The question is, whether it’s Cody she’s crying to or if it’s someone else and she’s hallucinating again.
Darin Toonder (Damon Montague) was injected with another kind of concoction by Dr. Damon Montague to stop the hallucinations.
No one would be surprised if it’s not Cody she’s crying an apology to trying to assuage her horrible guilt. But maybe she’s finally getting lucky.
