In a big update, SKY Glass customers can now sort individual personalised content onto the TV.

Netflix-style profiles will let each family member see their favorite movies on a different page.

Whether you’re a sports buff or reality TV fan, you’ll be able to create your very own watchlist under Playlists from apps and channels, both live and on demand.

You can also create a shared profile page with your family members.

The broadcasting giant plans to release the feature by Christmas with many other changes.

The firm’s brand new dishless Sky Stream plug -in box launches just as it makes the announcement. This means that the new Sky Stream box will receive the same new features as Sky Glass.

Sky has revealed that the Playlist Rail will move up the homepage as a part of the revamp.

All Playlist rails are now ordered by most recent.

Continue Watching will be introduced as a new rail on the homepage as well, so it’s super easy to jump to what you were last watching.

You can even find actor pages to help you discover the best of your favorite stars.

Sky Glass owners may also notice a vast improvement in picture quality too, as experts are updating the local dimming to provide higher contrast and brightness.

The Options menu offers a Vivid Mode. ‘punchier’ picture with higher levels of contrast and colour saturation.

Sky claims that it will turn on Bluetooth connectivity before the end the year. This will allow users to use their headphones to listen to Sky Glass instead.

You will find it easier to request a show by using your voice. All you have to do is say ‘Play’ followed with the title to be seen. The program will either play the first episode or continue where you left off.
