Amy Grant, pop singer, has been admitted to the hospital following a bicycle accident in Nashville on Wednesday.
“She was in a biking accident and taken to Vanderbilt where she was treated for cuts and abrasions,” Grant’s publicist confirmed to . “She is in stable condition. She was admitted and stayed overnight as a precaution and will be staying another night for observation and treatment.”

Kennedy Center Honors has selected Grant, a six-time Grammy Award nominee, for 2022. The Kennedy Center Honors recognizes individuals who have contributed to American culture through artistic pursuits. Grant was selected as an honoree alongside U2, George Clooney, Gladys Night and composer Tania Léon. These five honorees were honored at a Washington D.C. celebration in December.

Grant was also inducted into both the GMA Gospel Hall of Fame (2003) and the Christian Music Hall of Fame (2007).
