The sad news of Sparks’ demise was shared on April 13 through an obituary posted on Kepner Funeral Homes‘ website. The cause of her death was not disclosed in the announcement. Stephanie Sparks is best known for her role as a co-host on The Big Break, a popular Golf Channel reality TV show where contestants competed in various golf challenges.

“Stephanie contributed her light to our world and will be remembered for the joy, kindness, and positivity she shared,” the obituary states.

Tom Abbott, Stephanie’s colleague and co-host on The Big Break, expressed his shock and sorrow at the news and commended Sparks’ contribution to the reality TV series.

“I am deeply saddened by the loss of Stephanie Sparks,” Abbott wrote on Instagram. “We collaborated as hosts for 7 seasons of Big Break. Overall, Stephanie led 17 seasons of the show with grace, as an essential part of The Big Break‘s success story. He concluded, “My heart goes out to her family. The news will undoubtedly be a solemn moment for all the individuals who worked on the show and for those who followed the series.”
