An ITV News reporter was left horrified after a passer-by gatecrashed her live broadcast with a VERY rude comment. The female correspondent was reporting from West London when the moment happened.

As she spoke to the camera, a man in a black hooded top suddenly appeared behind her and said a very rude comment. It included the word “f***” and a derogatory term for a woman’s genitalia. Ever the pro, the journalist barely paused in her coverage, rolling her eyes and saying ‘erm’ mid-sentence before carrying on.

It wasn’t the only rude blunder ITV News has suffered in the last 24 hours. During ITV News’ lunchtime bulletin, Nina Hossain spoke to a correspondent about the Spring Budget and its repercussions, before getting Chancellor Jeremy Hunt’s name wrong. She said: “Mr C**t” before quickly correcting herself with “Mr Hunt” and moving on.

Again, social media was immediately awash with comments about the slip-up. One wrote: “Omg, no way did this just happen on the ITV News it’s made my day.” Another said Nina “looked mortified but carried on without missing a beat, best bit of TV I’ve seen all week! So funny.” A third tweeted: “Had to rewind myself to check I’d heard it right.”

It isn’t the first time Mr. Hunt’s name has caused problems for broadcasters on live television. In 2022, ITV News’ political editor Robert Peston made the same mistake as Nina.
