Shocking Discovery: Human Remains Uncovered in Search for Long-Lost Family Members

Shocking Discovery: Skeletal Human Remains Found in Search for Missing Blake and London Deven

Skeletal human remains have been discovered in the search for the missing siblings, Blake and London Deven, who vanished years apart from the same family, according to authorities.

Details of the Disappearance

Blake Deven, who would now be 17 years old, was last seen in 2022, as reported by the Fayetteville police in North Carolina. On the other hand, London Deven, who would be 27, disappeared four years ago under mysterious circumstances.

Mysterious Case Unfolds

The Fayetteville police revealed on Friday that partial remains had been located by investigators in this puzzling case. The FBI has also joined the efforts to locate the two individuals who were both adopted by the same foster parent.

Investigation and Proceeding

The human remains have been dispatched to the North Carolina Chief Medical Examiner’s office for identification, a process that could take several weeks or even months to reach a conclusive result.

Although the skeletal remains were not found at the Deven family’s last known residence, authorities are diligently working to solve this case. The current occupants of the residence have been fully cooperative with law enforcement.

Unusual Circumstances Unveiled

During an interview with the boy’s biological family for an unrelated case, investigators stumbled upon the disappearances. Family members reported not having seen Blake Deven for years, eventually leading officials to discover the absence of another “relative,” identified as London Deven.

“These are unusual missing person cases. Our investigation didn’t start with a 911 call. Blake and London have been missing for years,” stated Fayettville Police Chief Kemberle Braden during a recent press conference.

Desperate Pleas for Help

Both Blake and London are considered endangered, prompting London’s biological mother to share her heartfelt plea for finding her daughter. Recalling the long separation, she expressed her hope that the remains do not belong to her beloved daughter.

The emotional turmoil was further highlighted by Blake Deven’s birth mother, Felicia Chandler, who pleaded for assistance in locating her child, as she denied the abuse allegations that led to her son’s placement in foster care.

Seeking Community Support

Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding Blake Deven or London Deven to come forward, either by contacting the FBI at 800-225-5324 or the Fayetteville Police Department tipline at 910-578-2697.
