For the beginning of the season, episodes of the reality television show have typically aired on ABC at 8pm EST. On Monday, the day the Women Tell All will air, a Bachelor fan account on X, formerly known as Twitter, announced the time change. The account wrote: “PSA!!!!! Women Tell All is on AN HOUR LATER TONIGHT!!! Starting at 8pm Central! “@BachelorABC why hasn’t this been publicized at all?! Let me run your social media for crying out loud…”.

The time change seems to be caused by the release of Oprah Winfrey’s new documentary – An Oprah Special: Shame, Blame, and the Weight Loss Revolution. The special will air at 8pm forcing The Bachelor to move to 9pm, and according to fans, the time change was not advertised.

Fan Frustrations and Theories

In response to the fan page’s post, Bachelor Nation shared their frustrations and theories as to why no one knew about the schedule change. One said: “My assumption is that they are purposely not publicizing it so that people will accidentally tune into the Oprah special and then just leave the TV on ABC for an hour while waiting for Bachelor to start.” “This is already gonna be way past my bedtime. Ending at 11 EST is a tough sell lmao,” added another.

A third commented: “Thank you! I was just getting ready to tweet the same thing.” On Instagram, a fan wrote: “D**n, Oprah making us all stay up late.”

Daisy Kent’s Controversy

Finalist Daisy Kent was slammed by fans for joining the show to increase her social media following. Last Monday, a video of the 25-year-old, posted on Instagram last June of her playing the piano and singing made its rounds on social media. Daisy is deaf and uses a cochlear implant to help amplify her hearing.

In the clip, she’s sitting at a keyboard in a tight black tank top with her hair pulled back into a ponytail. Her white cochlear implant was in full view as she sang The Scientist by Coldplay.

The reality star captioned the post: “Sounds a little different to me right now but going to keep working at it.” According to the hashtags, Daisy posted the video to raise awareness for the deaf community, cochlear implants, and deaf musicians.

Still, fans online thought she just wanted to grow her platform while possibly becoming the next Bachelorette.
