One thing we know is that Marvel currently filming in Leeds (UK) Secret Invasion. That is why the Internet was flooded with set photos over the weekend. Many images and videos online show some of the MCU stars who are playing familiar characters. The set photos also include some of the newer and more mysterious members to the MCU.
This TV series is so thrilling
If you’re familiar with the Secret Invasion comics, you know why Marvel’s TV show is so exciting. Since the beginning of time, the Skrulls have infiltrated Earth to replace some of the heroes. We first met the Skrulls in their shape-shifting abilities. Captain Marvel. We saw some of them in the next step. Spider-Man Far from Home.
Some Skrulls may not be good guys. We have seen that Captain Marvel (Brie L. Larson) and Nick Fury, Samuel L. Jackson, worked together with a Skrull group. The relationship lasted decades considering Fury was still working alongside Talos (Ben Mendelsohn). Far from home. However, some Skrulls may be more sinister than others. And they might very well use their abilities to replace some of the MCU’s beloved Avengers.
That’s what makes Secret Invasion so exciting, and that’s even before we look at the set photos. This story could establish a new storyline in Phase 4 in addition to the multiverse. It might also be an avenue for future MCU adventures. Rumours suggest that The MarvelsThis will be tied into Secret Invasion. The Captain Marvel sequel will be in theaters February 17th 2023.
Marvel has assembled an incredible cast to star in this TV show. Secret InvasionThis could be an important Phase IV pillar.
Cobie Smulders will be returning to the MCU, in addition to Jackson and Mendelsohn. We have seen her in several stories as Maria Hill, and we expect Fury and her to continue working together in the aftermath. Endgame.
It is impressive to see the number of newcomers. The TV series will feature stars Emilia Clarke and Olivia Colman, Christopher McDonalds, Killian Scott and Carmen Ejogo.
