Get Ready to Scream: Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights Are Back!
Fans say nobody does Halloween like Universal Orlando, so the time has come around again to bag tickets to see it for yourself. The Halloween Horror Nights are returning to the theme park from the end of August, and tickets are available from £77pp.
When and Where to Experience the Horror
In 2024, the Halloween-themed event will kick off on August 31 and run on selected nights until November 3. The horror nights should start around 6:30pm and stay open until 1am – but these timings may vary depending on the day you visit.
What to Expect at Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights
The theme park promises 10 haunted houses, five scare zones, and live entertainment. Usually around this time, there isn’t much information on what the haunted houses will be or special shows. The Halloween houses also follow a theme which hasn’t been announced either, but previous years have followed Jack the Clown and The Pumpkin Lord.
Highlights of Past Horror Nights
However, 2023 featured some incredible haunted houses like The Last of Us, Stranger Things, Chucky, and The Exorcist. Meanwhile, in 2022, visitors got the chance to experience Halloween, Hellblock Horror, and Universal Monsters: Legends Collide.
Entertainment and Rides
In terms of shows, Nightmare Fuel Revenge Dream is rumored to be one of them. Some of the rides will also remain open during the Halloween events, including Harry Potter and the ‘Escape from Gringotts’, ‘Fast & Furious – Supercharged’, ‘Men in Black Alien Attack’, ‘Transformers: The 3D Ride’ and more.
Booking Information and Tips
More than one million guests visit the Halloween horror nights every year, but it is not recommended for children under 13 years old as it might be “too intense.” Holiday packages to the Halloween horror night in Orlando are also available, with TUI, BA Holidays, and Virgin Holidays offering deals. Make sure to book in advance!
Remember, Halloween Horror Nights is a separately ticketed event held at Universal Studios Florida, and it won’t give you access to the theme park before the start of the event. The Attractiontickets.com deal does not include travel or accommodation, so guests will have to book that separately.
