People were abuzz about the upcoming episode this week of Saturday Night LiveComedy comedian Dave Chappelle is featured on the comedy show. Many commentators seemed surprised that the sketch comedy show would question the comedian at this moment in time. Chappelle’s controversial take on some of his standup routines has earned him headlines in the last year. Whether or not Chappelle actually discusses the backlash he’s received at some point during the show remains to be seen. He and SNLIt seemed to make fun of his controversies.
It happens with every episode of SNL, NBC released a promo that teases what’s to come. This new advert was shared to TwitterThe series’ cast includes Ego Nwodim and Black Star, as well as Dave Chappelle, music guest. Nwodim is asked by Nwodim whether Chappelle will be present live in the second variant of the advert. Saturday Night LiveIt makes fun of itself occasionally and criticizes the public. The exchange between the stars in the video seems clear to refer to the many situations that have arisen from the. Chappelle’s ShowVeteran as of late. Despite the show’s apparent self-awareness though, there are likely still people who take issue with its decision to tap the comedy performer for this latest episode.
The A Star is BornAfter the October 2021 release of his final Netflix special, the alum found himself in serious trouble. The Closer. The comic’s comments have led to blowback on multiple fronts. In the lead-up to Dave Chappelle’s third run as host, it was rumored that some would boycott this week’s SNL. According to a source, some writers decided to not participate in the episode. However, no cast members are reported to be watching. Ego Nwodim stated that this episode is going to be an “an”. “interesting” installment of the show, and one can’t even begin to predict how things will go down. Though if the recent promo is any indication, there’s at least a slight chance that Chappelle will address the headlines that have surrounded him as of late.
