Rihanna shared the cover artwork for her new single Lift Me Up. Fans can only think back to 2006’s album, A Girl Like Me.

With her latest song, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the Barbadian singer made music comeback in 2022.

Rihanna reveals Lift Me Up Cover

Rihanna posted the cover art to her new single to Instagram and Twitter, Thursday. The track will be streaming at midnight EST tonight.

It is a close-up black-and-white shot of the singer’s face with her name and the title of the song mentioned on the side.

A non-smiling Rihanna’s face is partly covered by her wavy hair. Do you find this interesting?

The song is co-written by Rihanna, Black Panther’s returning director Ryan Coogler and composer, Ludwig Göransson.

Rihanna’s second studio album, A Girl Like Me, was released in 2006. It was billed as a pop and reggae album influenced by the singer’s Caribbean roots.

After fans saw striking similarities between her 2006 album cover and her new single Lift Me Up, the old album is back in fashion on social media.
