Time Out ran the World’s Best Cities Index, which asked 20,000 people from around the globe what makes their city so great to live in.
Edinburgh is the top-ranked city.

Time Out says it’s the second-most affordable, with 87 per cent of respondents saying it wasn’t too expensive.
Prague and Amsterdam take fifth and sixth places respectively. They are both beloved for their incredible architecture and openness.
