Remembering the University of Virginia Shooting Victims

The following are the University Virginia: Deadly shootings, many of those who knew the victims are sharing memories of them and showing support for their loved ones.

Authorities have arrested three UVA football players and students after they were shot by a former football player and student. The incident occurred while they were returning from a play during a class field trip in Washington D.C.

D’Sean Perry was a linebacker for the school and was from Miami, Florida, where he went to Gulliver Prep for high school, according to his athletic Profil.

Cliff Kling, President of Gulliver Prep shared his memories of Perry’s time as a student, mentor, and friend.

“After you had an encounter with him, you were better for it. He was a bright mind, caring heart,”According to Kling Local 10.com.

Bulluck described Perry, according to The New York Post, as a silent leader who people gravitated towards and believed that he was destined to greatness.

“D’Sean walked around with a curiosity of the world that would have taken him places,”Bullock spoke to the New York Post. “I think he would have grown up to be an influential person.”

Two young men were also injured in the incident and were taken to the UVA Medical Center. However, their identities were not released, said Timothy Longo, Chief of Police at UVA Police.
