Twin Sisters Reunited After a Decade Named Valedictorians at Respective High Schools

Audrey Doering and Gracie Rainsberry Reunited

Identical twins Audrey Doering and Gracie Rainsberry, who were separated after being adopted from China in 2007, have not only reunited after 10 years but have also achieved the remarkable feat of being named valedictorians at their respective high schools.

Celebrating Milestones Together

Despite the physical distance, the 18-year-olds were able to celebrate their milestones together. Gracie traveled to Wisconsin to witness Audrey’s graduation earlier this month, and Audrey will soon head to Washington to celebrate Gracie’s graduation. This special bond between the sisters was formed after reconnecting for the first time in 2017.

A Close Bond Despite Distance

Gracie shared her thoughts on their unique situation during the May 22 episode of Good Morning America, stating, “Our situation is not ideal, it’s not like most twins. But I’m so glad that I was able to go down and be with Audrey on her special day. And then when I graduate, she’s going to be able to come to Washington.”

Pursuing Different Paths

Following their high school graduation, Audrey will be attending Vanderbilt University, while Gracie is set to embark on her journey at Eastern Oregon University, where she will also be playing for the women’s soccer team.
