Release of sequel anime confirmed for 2023

A sequel to The Devil is a Part-Timer anime series, has been confirmed for release in 2023.

The 2022 Summer anime slate is over. Three major series have reached their respective conclusion today.

While anime fans all over the world are counting down to the final episodes, many are also looking forward to what the future holds.

The good news? It was only minutes ago that The Devil Is a Part-Timer got a sequel anime. The announcement didn’t mention whether this will be season 3 or a spin-off.

Is The Devil a Part-Timer movie sequel confirmed for season 3 in 2023?

Just a few minutes ago, a sequel of the anime The Devil is a Part-Timer was confirmed as being in production and will be broadcast in 2023.

However, fans should note that it wasn’t officially stated that this would be season 3 of the main anime series, only labelled as a sequel.

Whilst fans will be delighted to hear of the anime series’ continuation, not many will have been too surprised by the news. WeiboIn July, it was also stated that there would be another year and that it would come in 2007. “a very scary project.”The good news is that season three of The Devil is a Part-Timer is possible thanks to the availability of source material as well as the popularity of anime worldwide.

Per AnimeGeek, season 2 episode 12 is expected to adapt up until volume 5 of Satoshi Wagahara’s original light novel series, or volume 11 of the subsequent manga adaptation. However, the total number of complete Tankobon volumes for the light novel series is 21 as of September 2022. PublishedJapan has manga up to Volume 19. This means that there is enough content to produce up to four episodes of The Devil is a Part-Timer.

The popularity is the next thing. Although reviews for The Devil is a Part-Timer are lower than expected, they should still be popular enough to warrant a third broadcast. On the 2023 release, a more specific launch date was sadly not shared, but Studio 3Hz currently do not have any major anime project scheduled for the new year – meaning there is an open space for The Devil is a Part-Timer sequel in Q1.
