Real Housewives Of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice Reflects On Her Prison Stint, Reveals If She Keeps In Touch With Women She Met There

Prior to Erika Jayne and Jen Shah’s current legal woes, there were the bombshell fraud charges against Teresa Giudice and her then-husband Joe Giudice in 2013. They would eventually reach a settlement with the prosecutors. Teresa was sentenced to 15 and Joe to 41 months respectively. The same scenario was seen in previous seasons of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but the show’s headliner is reflecting on the prison stint in an altogether different way now. She is also open about keeping in touch with those she met while in prison.

Teresa Giudice was released after serving less than 12 months in prison for her 15-month sentence. (She was released in 2015, just one day before Christmas Eve. As was seen on Real Housewives of New JerseyGiudice had difficulty for some time with processing the loss in time from her four children and her elderly mother. The latter ended up dying a little more than a year after Giudice’s release from prison. Reality star Giudice is openly talking about her experience and her ex. Andy Cohen was the one to tell. SiriusXM radio show:

I don’t mind saying that I went to jail. It’s okay now. Remember Andy [Cohen]? I was hesitant to use the word. … It bothered me for a long time because I know in my heart I was not supposed to go there. It’s obvious that I went only because I was public. Hear me. Joe signed me two contracts. [Giudice]Flipping [for]Two homes he was going to buy. That was all I knew. I had no idea what he was up to. I don’t have anything to hide. As if I didn’t do my homework already.

Even though the star has spoken out about these experiences, Real Housewives of New JerseyShe writes at length that the subject of her prison sentence is often a sensitive topic live. In the last season of the show alone, co-star Jackie Goldschneider pushed Giudice’s buttons majorly when she asked her, “Did you get that confidence from jail?”The drama began after the jail comment.

But, today, Bravo alum Teresa Giudice is fine when asked about that time (if it comes from a friend). Andy Cohen questioned if Teresa Giudice – who just came off an island stint with the likes of Ramona Singer on the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip – still talks to the woman she was incarcerated with, and surprisingly, she dropped a name, saying:

They still reach out to me, even though there are many of them. Jamila Davis. Jamila Davis is her real name. Chris Christie took her prisoner for 10 years in mortgage fraud.

Teresa Giudice likely is being honest about her imprisonment experience, as she is now well and truly out of it. They have also reportedly completed the payment of restitution due to their ex-husband, Teresa Giudice. She is now divorced from her ex who got her into this legal mess, and they have reportedly finished paying restitution for what was owed in their case. New JerseyAfter just one year of dating, the alum has also been engaged to Luis Ruelas.

Supposedly, Luis Reulas’ name gets dragged into the mud in the upcoming season of the reality series. Castmates may be a bit weary as Teresa Giudice (obviously), is a loyal partner. You can tune into Season 12 of The Real Housewives of New JerseyThe show will debut on Bravo at 9 PM EST on February 1. CinemaBlend has a 2022 TV schedule that provides more details about the shows to be aired this year.
