Rag Doll in wall with terrifying note Man told to move out new home after finding Spine Chilling Note!

Jonathan Lewis, from Liverpool, has already been told by pals to put the property straight back on the market after discovering a spine-chilling note inside his new home

A primary school teacher was shocked to discover a rag doll holding a spine-chilling note behind a wall inside his new home.

Jonathan Lewis, 32, was only able to move out of the property after being there for a few days.

After he received his keys to Walton-on-the-Hill in Surrey on Friday, he set about a DIY project that would create more space.

After attaching a hammer to the wall, he discovered a rag-doll dressed in a pinstripe and bonnet with a scary note.

He told the Liverpool Echo: “I’ve just bought the house and I got the keys on Friday. I kind of knew there was this void underneath the stairs that had been plaster-boarded up.

“There was a wire coming out where the previous owners had the fridge but I didn’t know where the wire was plugged in so I knocked through a bit of the plasterboard to see what was there.

“I knocked into a hole the size of a fist and shined a light in to discover a doll sitting there.”

After pulling the plasterboard, Jonathan realized the doll was holding a note, which has left his friends seriously freaked out.

It said: “Dear reader/ new homeowner, Thank you for freeing me!

“My name is Emily. This house was owned by my original owners in 1961. They didn’t like me so I had them go.

“All they did was sing and be merry. It was sickening. The stabbing was my choice of death for them so I hope you have knives.

“I hope you have a restful night.

Jonathan’s friends advised him to sell his house as soon as possible following the discovery.

He said: “Some of my friends have told me to put my house back on the market and move out but I think it’s just a laugh.”

Despite the ominous note, Jonathan has taken it in his strides.

He said: “I’ll be honest, I found the whole thing hilarious. I’d probably do the exact same thing.

“The letter says 1961 but the estate agent said when she was showing me around that the kitchen was only done four or five years ago.

“I think it must have been put there then because the paper doesn’t look very old and looks relatively recent.”
