Radio 1 Star Shocks Fans with Unrecognisable Appearance After Hair Transplant
A RADIO 1 star looked unrecognisable after being left swollen and bruised following a hair transplant. The presenter took to TikTok to show off the results of the procedure and assured fans the swelling was “normal”.

In a clip revealing before and after snaps, Dean said: “Day 3 of my hair transplant journey and I’m trusting the process, zero pain or major discomfort and apparently the swelling is normal.” Dean joked he is in his “Avatar era” and his followers rushed to comment, insisting they never would have guessed it was him.

Dean McCullough, who stood in for Breakfast Show host Greg James earlier this year, also joked that his eye has been forced closed and looks like a slit. Dean, who regularly appeared on Big Brother Late and Live during last year’s civilian series, recently sparked rumours he was heading into the celebrity version.

Earlier this year he was announced as the host of Radio 1’s early breakfast show. He originally hosted a weekend show before hosting afternoons following the exit of Scott Mills.
Dean said of his new gig: “I’m really excited to be taking over the reins from the amazing Arielle Free. “The Early Breakfast crew are the best listeners at Radio 1. I’m really excited to get stuck in and wake up the nation every morning.”
