His exact cause of death was not known but it happened as Russian troops began to withdraw from Kherson city.

Stremousov (45), was the deputy governor. He had uploaded videos of speeding cars on the roads.

And he also made unverified claims that British and Polish mercenaries drove the Ukrainian advance earlier today, without providing any proof.

”Many have left. Nearly 80,000 people were evacuated. We offer assistance to anyone who is unable or unwilling to leave Kherson. I am now in Kherson myself,” he said in one of his final social media posts.

He also maintained that Russia was in “full control”Despite the chaotic forced deportation tens of thousands civilians, this situation is still a concern.

According to his driver, Stremousov, who was 130 miles away from Kherson city, at the border with Crimea on the border, Stremousov died today.

Vladimir Saldo was the Kremlin’s acting governor for Kherson region. He confirmed that his deputy was dead.

He stated: “It is very hard for me to say that Kirill Stremousov died today. He died on the territory of the Kherson region, travelling in a car that got into an accident,”

Ukrainian sources suggested that the Russians might have deliberately murdered the mouthpiece of Putin’s turncoat.

Blogger and politician Anatoly Shariy said: “Several sources confirmed the death of Stremousov.

“If this is true, then I understand what kind of ‘traffic accident’ this was right now when the surrender of Kherson is obvious.”

He said: “And the main thing – if he was killed, and exactly in the way I was told it happened – then it was no Ukrainian Army spies killing him.”

Sergey Markov, political analyst, said that a Russian commander was riding in the car with Stremousov. He survived.

He stated: “It all seems very strange.”

“He kept saying that Kherson could not be handed over and it would not be handed over.

“He died on the day when they began to actively talk about the surrender of Kherson.

“He died not from a terrorist attack, but in an accident. Not in Kherson, but in Henichesk.

“With him in the car was a military commander Kotz, he did not die.

“All this is very strange.”

Stremousov, an ex-fish food tycoon was charged with treason in Kyiv after siding with Russia during the invasion.
