A Wisconsin woman was recently the first to visit Publix.

Talia Lakritz shared the experience she had shopping at Publix. Insider.

Because she is originally from Wisconsin, she had never before shopped in the store.

She has been to other grocery stores in New York City, including Wegman’s, but has yet to see all that Publix has.

On a recent trip to Tennessee she discovered that Publix has pantry staples at a lower price than other stores.

She brought one item home: Publix brand cheese and macaroni.

Talia found it important that it was kosher certified, something she doesn’t see often in other shops.

Talia also noticed Publix’s brand-name ice cream.

She was not only impressed by the traditional flavors but also the wide variety of options the brand offers, such as cherry nut, moose tracks and chocolate almond.

The large assortment of cheeses Publix had was another attraction that impressed the Wisconsinite.

She stated that it was “on par with displays I’ve seen in Midwestern stores.”

Talia also mentioned how well-stocked the electronics and kitchenware aisles were.

“The kitchenware section had enough pots, pans, utensils, and gadgets to fully stock a kitchen,”She said.

She also mentioned that the electronics section of Target and Walmart are very similar. This is something that is quite rare in grocery stores.

Publix is well-known because of its variety of prepared and hot foods. This caught Talia’s attention.

She also mentioned that the store offers ready-to-eat sushi. “looked delicious.”

Her greatest takeaway was Publix. “one-stop shop that I wish I lived near enough to make my go-to grocery store.”
