DISNEY+ is relaunching its PS5 app, with a special free upgrade.
Subscribers can now stream their favorite movies and shows in even higher quality.

Gamers have been using the PS4 app since the launch of the PS5.
However, they will now get a custom version to fit current generation console technology.
It also includes support for 4K HDR.
It’s a fantastic deal to get 4K free of charge, especially when you consider how much other companies charge.
On Netflix, for example, you have to have a premium subscription which costs £15.99.
A Disney+ subscription currently costs £7.99 a month.
You will need a TV that supports 4K resolution to fully enjoy the 4K beauty.
Modern TVs are now made to 4K standards. Prices are slowly falling.
“A key part of our global expansion strategy is to meet consumers wherever they are, which is why we’re excited to enhance Disney+ for PlayStation 5 users,” said Jerrell Jimerson, who’s in charge of Product & Design for Disney Streaming.
“The ability to support 4K HDR video streaming on the platform will also improve the viewing experience for fans.”
Other news is that Disney is expected to follow Netflix’s path with a less expensive subscription plan, but with ads.
Reports in May indicated that subscribers to the new payment level will have to watch as much as four minutes of advertisements per hour as part their viewing experience.
To keep the platform family friendly, we will ban ads for politics and alcohol.
