Pop Star Triumphs Over Retirement Rumors with Spectacular Concert Announcement

Ronan Keating Comes Out of Retirement to Headline 90s Baby Festival

A ’90s star boasting three number one singles from their solo career and six from their former band, Ronan Keating, 47, has emerged from retirement to grace the stage at a music festival. His twelfth and final album was released in 2021, marking his return to the music scene as he performs at the 90s Baby Festival.

Ronan Keating’s Comeback Performance

The Irish singer will join a host of other artists, including Peter Andre, Blue, Atomic Kitten, Blazin’ Squad, Samantha Mumba, and Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys. Keating announced his return on Instagram by saying, “I’m excited to headline @itsthenineteesbaby festival at Town Moor, Newcastle on Sunday August 4.”

Keating’s performance at the 90s Baby Festival marks his first concert tour since his retirement was announced, following his son’s claim on a TV show that Ronan was done with the music industry.

Challenges Faced by Ronan Keating

Recently, Keating made headlines when his former manager Louis Walsh called him a “p–” on Celebrity Big Brother. Despite Walsh’s past mentorship, their professional relationship soured over time, with Walsh publicly criticizing Keating as “talentless and spoiled.”

In response, Keating expressed his disappointment, stating that he would not tolerate disrespect from anyone, including his former manager. He emphasized the importance of mutual respect in professional relationships and acknowledged Walsh’s role in his career while also voicing his grievances.

In an interview with Closer, Keating shared his sentiments, saying, “That man absolutely tried to ruin me, and if he thinks we can ever hug and make up, he can forget it. I haven’t heard from him in three years, and I wouldn’t have a problem if I never saw him again. He’s not a nice character.”
