The reel includes appearances by William Riker (Jonathan Frakes), Deanna Tri (Marina Sirtis), Worf [Michael Dorn], Worf [Michael Dorn], Geordi La Forge (“LeVar Burton”), Beverly Crusher (Gates McFadden), and many others. Each of these characters are given a chance to shine thanks to some well-written dialogue. Picard’s inspirational line ends the trailer with a positive message that promotes unity and faith as well as positive sentiments. “As long as you and your crew remain steadfast… you are never without hope,”He says.
Jeri Ryan, Michelle Hurd and Raffi Musicer will reprise their roles in Season 3 of Picard. Brent Spiner will also return to Picard in some capacity, though his identity remains a mystery at this point.
