Relationship Insights of Abbey Clancy and Peter Crouch

Ever since launching their podcast in January last year, Abbey Clancy and Peter Crouch have struck a chord with millions of Brits. The relatable arguments, hilarious anecdotes on parenting four children, and insight into their surprisingly normal lifestyle have been things the average Brit can connect with.

The Therapy Crouch Podcast: A Deeper Look at the Couple’s Relationship

In the most recent episode of The Therapy Crouch, the couple shared a deeper insight into their arguments – namely, who apologises the most. During the agony aunt section of the weekly show – dubbed the Agony Ab – a man wrote in to reveal that he had been sleeping on the sofa for four nights after upsetting his wife.

Abbey’s Preferences and Peter’s Punishment PJ’s

Peter, 43, was quick to chime in that he’s “been kicked out of bed when he didn’t do anything wrong” – but Abbey, 38, set the record straight. “I hate sleeping on my own,” she revealed.

Communication Challenges and the Power of Apologies

She was referring to another episode where the couple revealed how ex-England ace Peter puts on his passion-killing pyjamas in a strop if they have a row. Not only does he “punish” Abbey with the pyjamas, but he also doesn’t say sorry… even when he’s in the wrong. “I would love a mature argument – I can’t stand carrying it on for days,” Abbey continued.

Abbey’s Humor and Peter’s Stubbornness

She went on to poke fun at Peter for being “so moody” and stubborn when it comes to apologising after an argument. “I can honestly say in 20 years, I can count on my fingers – on one hand – the amount of times you’ve said sorry,” Abbey said. “You don’t say sorry. Even when you’re wrong, you don’t say sorry.”

But according to podcast mogul, who also fronts That Peter Crouch Podcast, he’s “not wrong often”. Abbey and Peter started dating in 2006 after meeting at a bar in Liverpool. The couple, who share four children together, were engaged in 2009 and wed in 2011.
