SpongeBob is feverishly trying find Patrick’s hidden contents in a box. Patrick loves playing with Patrick’s head. He says the words. “The inner machinations of my mind are an enigma” to demonstrate his complexity. As Patrick is thinking, a thought bubble appears over his head. It shows a carton of milk spilling onto a plate, which represents the simpleton he truly is. Fagerbakke found the bizarre line hilarious in the studio. “Crazy outbursts, just like, “I love being purple!” Weird outbursts like that,” the actor explained.
Fagerbakke is not only fond of his character but also loves the moment when he sees the “SpongeBob SquarePants” pilot episode. Squidward and Mr. Krabs send a SpongeBob on an impossible task: to find a tricked out spatula. Squidward enjoyed the prank, as did Mr. Krabs. “Squidward comes up to Krabs and goes, ‘9A hydro-what? Oh, Mr. Krabs, you’re horrible,'” Fagerbakke said. “That will always be one of my favorite lines in any kind of content.”
