Paramount’s Tom Ryan to Recipient of the NATPE Leadership Award

The first-ever NATPE Award in Leadership in Global Streaming will be given to Paramount Global streaming chief Tom Ryan at the NATPE Streaming+ conference in Hollywood.

Ryan will be honored for his record of innovation and entrepreneurship in streaming. Ryan was previously the CEO and co-founder of Pluto TV FAST, a channel platform that offers streaming services. Ryan was elected president and CEO of Paramount Streaming late 2020. In 2021, he led the launch of Paramount+. He currently oversees Paramount Global’s streaming and direct-to consumer businesses.

“Strategically scheduled a week after the Emmys, the event will draw the elite from the entire content ecosystem from showrunners, marketers, producers and sellers all facing the new reality of the business in dealing with production costs, windowing and licensing,”JP Bommel is president and CEO at NATPE.

The conversations at NATPE streaming+ will focus on four key areas: content creation, collaboration and monetization. Kelly Metz, Omnicom Media Group’s managing director for advanced TV activation, will host the keynote discussion on the future of streaming advertising.

The W Hollywood Hotel will host the event on September 29th.
