TLC star Danielle Busby has revealed the difficult health complications she’s suffered in the years since giving birth to quintuplet girls. The OutDaughtered mom welcomed her five daughters in May 2015, but the pregnancy left her body with difficulties, even nine years later.

Danielle, 40, spoke about her alarming challenges in a new interview with Parade, where she claimed she suffered “nerve damage” after giving birth. The reality star told the outlet that she’s encountered “migraines, neck and body pain, heart palpitations and more”, which have had “debilitating effects on her everyday life.”

Danielle shares her quintuplet daughters, Ava, Olivia, Hazel, Riley, and Parker with her husband Adam Busby, 41. The couple also has a 13-year-old daughter named Blayke. The undertaking of carrying five babies at once caused detriment to Danielle’s body, leaving lasting effects on both her heart and nervous system.

The Importance of Medical Treatment

Danielle has committed to regular bloodwork in the years since her pregnancy, through which her doctors have discovered vitamin deficiencies. Although Danielle’s medical team has yet to pinpoint an exact term for the pain she’s experiencing, they are currently treating her for “migraines, fibromyalgia, and autoimmune disease.”
