A single Powerball ticket was sold in California at a gas station. It won the $2.04 million jackpot.

It was sold at Joe’s Service Center, an Exxon gas station in Los Angeles County. The winning numbers were: 56, 41 and 33, 47, 10 and Powerball was 10.

After a long and frustrating delay of over an hour, the historic Powerball drawing was finally completed.

Last night, the draw for America’s largest lottery prize was marred by the announcement that the draw would not be held at the time scheduled due to technical problems.

Laura Johnson, host of the lottery studio in Tallahassee, tried to remain positive as she gave the negative news. “Make sure you hold on to your tickets and check powerball.com for the winning Powerball results!”She said.

Social media was abuzz over the delay.

“They pull ping pong balls out of a spinning basket; how do you screw that up?”Post one player

“Nothing like a suspicious 2 billion dollar #powerball mystery to bring the nation together,”Another person wrote.

What happened then? Minnesota was so popular that the sales verification system crashed.

But ultimately the drawing went on, and now one lucky person who decided to buy a Powerball ticket at a California gas station has become America’s newest billionaire.
