TLC recently shared a new sneak peek of the upcoming episode of Welcome to Plathville. In the short clip, Olivia Plath is met with a difficult decision and becomes very emotional about her relationship with Ethan.
On the show, many of the couple’s ups and downs have been documented. Even though they’ve only been married for a short time, they’ve been through a lot together. Much of this has to do with the conflict between the couple and Ethan’s parents, Kim and Barry Plath.
As fans have watched Ethan and Olivia navigate their relationship, they have wondered whether their marriage will survive. They do seem to love each other, but there has been a strain on their marriage.
Some fans are predicting that the couple will eventually split. Others think that they may be doing better outside of the show. Olivia has been open about attending therapy, setting boundaries, and adding more tools to her toolbox. So, it looks like the pair is taking as many necessary steps as they can. But will it be enough to save their marriage?
In the preview for the next episode, Ethan meets Olivia in a parking lot to talk. She admits that she doesn’t know how to process how she feels and talk to him. She says that she is thinking of all of the possible outcomes as well.
Later in the clip, in a confessional, Olivia talks about the tough decision she has to make regarding her relationship with her husband. She acknowledges that leaving him would break both her heart and his.
Then, she says, “If I stay, I’m agreeing that I’m okay with not being accepted. And I don’t know which one’s better.” She explains, “Inside, and I’m in a turmoil of whether to stay or go.”
The whole episode will give more insight into what goes down between Ethan and Olivia during this conversation. But based on the preview, it’s safe to say this will be an emotional episode. Fans will have to tune in to see what Olivia and Ethan decide to do next.
