Ohio Woman Convicted for Using Dog To Attack 6-Year-Old

According to local reports, an Ohio woman was charged with child endangerment and felony assault after she allegedly used her dog to attack a 6-year old girl.

According to Warren County Prosecutor David Fornshell, Cassie Thierauf (38) lives on one side and the 6-year-old with her family on the other.

The prosecutor said the incident started when Thierauf and another person were in the backyard of the home allegedly taking drugs when the 6-year-old’s mother started filming, According to WCPO local outlet.

Fornshell said that an argument followed and then the child’s mom went inside to call the police, According to Fox 19 local outlet

According to reports, the 6-year old, her sister and another girl were playing outside the front yard while the mother was at work.

Fornshell claimed that Thierauf opened the front door and told her pit bull boxer, Thierauf, to enter. “go get them,”Fox 19.

According to the outlet, in another video provided to police, officers say she can be heard telling at the girl’s mother, “your kids shouldn’t have f***** with me and my dogs.”

According to police, the dog attacked the 6-year old, biting her head and body. She left her with severe injuries to the mouth, which required multiple emergency surgery.

Fox 19 reports that Thierauf claimed Thierauf’s dog, who was a stray dog, got out of the front door because it wasn’t shut properly.

Thierauf is held on a $25,000 bond and her arraignment is set for Oct. 6, court records show.

According to Fox 19, police took Thierauf’s pit bull away and have since evicted Thierauf from her duplex home.
