Officials reveal Queen’s cause for death after releasing the monarch’s official death certificate

The cause of death for the Queen was old age, as her death certificate has shown.

It was confirmed that the monarch, who was 96 years old, died at 3.10pm on Monday, September 8, at Balmoral Castle.

The official informant on her death certificate is Princess Anne, who was at Her Majesty’s bedside when she passed away.

Douglas James Allan Glass, registered medical practitioner, certified Queen Elizabeth’s passing.

Windsor Castle was her home, and the occupation of the monarch was: “Her Majesty, the Queen”.

Only death due to old age was listed on the certificate. There were no other contributing factors.

Unfortunately, the Queen’s marital status has been changed to “widowed”Following the death of Prince Philip.

In the document, Her Majesty was also given Elizabeth Alexandra Mary’s full name.

After the Queen’s September 8th death, the royals raced to Balmoral to reach their destination.

King Charles and Anne had already arrived in Scotland, so it was time to say goodbye.

The Queen’s other children, the Duke of York and the Earl of Wessex, also travelled to the Scottish estate with Prince William but sadly she had already died.

After flying in from Windsor, Prince Harry arrived around 8pm.

Three hours after her death, Her Majesty’s death became public.

Following her funeral last Monday, she was buried together with Prince Philip in St George’s Chapel alongside her sister, mother and father.

It was followed by a state funeral of the Queen, who had dedicated her life to her country for 70 years.

Today hundreds of people are waiting at Windsor Castle for a chance to see the monarch’s final restingplace.

After her death, her former home was reopened with a new ledgerstone unveiled on Saturday.

It reads: “George VI 1895-1952” “Elizabeth 1900-2002″Followed by a metal Garter Stern, and then “Elizabeth II 1926-2022” “Philip 1921-2021”.
