But as we get closer to finally seeing the sequel in theaters, we’re starting to get a look at some of the rest of the film’s growing ensemble, too. The latest teaser image of Chris Pratt and a new character gives us yet another exciting clue about what director Colin Trevorrow has planned for us.

This image is not only a way to introduce DeWanda Wise fans to the franchise, but it also keeps us interested. What is the name of her character as yet? How does she know Chris Pratt’s Owen? Perhaps most important, who are they up against?
We know that the characters could face several different foes based on what we have seen so far. Colin Trevorrow made it abundantly clear: Roberta the T.Rex will play an important roleIn DominionThey could also be up against her. Owen, who was on the run from Atrociraptors in a teaser photo, was another recent image. A brand new dinosaurThe film will include this information. Or maybe they’re not going to fight with another prehistoric creature at all – there are There are many human threats. Jurassic World, too, after all.
This latest glimpse at the villainous character is not revealed. Dominion, the first impression we get from DeWanda Wise’s character is that is strong and capable – in other words, she can hold her own, even if it’s against a carnivorous creature. It will be interesting to see where the legacy characters will fit in the new stories as the franchise expands. Colin Trevorrow has promised that Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill’s returns will be worth the wait and that They will be featured prominently with their iconic charactersIn the film. It remains to be seen, though, whether that means we’ll see them teaming up with new characters, like the one DeWanda Wise is playing.
