In a new Interview with People, Campbell “I don’t know that I’m done for good”It is unclear if there will be any future installments in which she could reprise her role of Sidney Prescott. Although she stated that she was unable to accept an unfair offer, she did not deny that she had reasons for leaving the film. “the value that I bring to this franchise, and have brought to this franchise, for 25 years.”

“It would really depend on what they came to me with next. It would have to be different. It would have to be a different attitude, and I’m not sure that’s going to happen,”Campbell stated. “If they came to me with a number that felt right, that felt respectful, that felt in keeping with my value that I brought to the franchise, I’d be willing to consider [returning in the future].”

She continued: “I don’t believe it’s dead in the water, but we’ll see…But honestly, I’m really okay. I’ve been able to let it go. I wish them well. I’m doing three different shows right now. I’m very, very grateful that I’m working. I’m happy. So all is good.”

The untitled “Scream 6”Spyglass Media and Paramount are currently developing the film and it is expected to be released on March 31, 2023. The next “Scream” movie has the primary cast from this year’s “Scream”Jasmin and Mason Savoy Brown, Jenna Ortega and Melissa Barrera are all back. Tony Revolori, Samara Weaving, and Tony Revolori are also returning. Radio Silence of Matt BettinelliOlpin, Tyler Gillett and Tyler Savoy Brown will return to direct the film. Guy Busick will serve as co-screenwriters with James Vanderbilt as they tackle the next chapter in the frightening Ghostface murder story.
