Netflix’s Resident Evil called ‘most aggressively s**t TV series of 2022’

Netflix’s new Resident EvilThe series is receiving negative reviews from viewers who watched it believing it would be an extension for the film series.

The series was adapted to the films from a Japanese game that focused on survival of a zombie outbreak. Originally made in the early 2000s, these movies enjoyed an enormous popularity with horror and video game enthusiasts, earning over a million dollars worldwide.

Producers wanted to make the movie franchise a Netflix series. However, it seems that Netflix fans aren’t too keen on the show because it has inconsistencies with movies and the videogame.

“I mean apparently you can just march right into Umbrella facility like you would into 7-Eleven. No security, not even after the alarms go off. A super high tech laboratory. Hilarious.” Joni shared her thoughts on Twitter.

Fans were skeptical when the trailer for the series was released in June. They felt that the series had drifted from its roots.

Many viewers felt that the series had been badly written, as Twitter users shared jokes from the show.

The Resident EvilThis series takes place between 2022-2036 and is set in a dystopian future where one company, Umbrella Corporation, controls everything. The previous plot focuses on Dr. Albert Wesker’s children as they watch their father, a Umbrella Corp. executive, deal with an outbreak of a virus that makes people cannibalistic.

The future plotline shows how the virus outbreak created two civilizations, one of normal people and one with infected zombies.

The series averages 3.4/10 ratings from around 3,800 viewers IMDBMany people echo what others on Twitter said about the series.

“We are NEVER getting a good live action Resident Evil movie/show,” A Twitter user wrote.
