**NETFLIX users have been threatening to cancel their subscriptions in a popular Reddit forum.
The page is called r/netflix and recently it’s featured complaints about rumored plans for more price rises.
Wall Street analysts have said they expect Netflix prices to rise again this year, reported Variety.
“We expect to see rate increases this year,” said UBS analyst John Hodulik about Netflix.
This has not been confirmed and the streaming giant only just raised its prices a few months ago.
Despite this, Netflix users are expressing concern about the app and other streaming platforms.
Users on Reddit Express Concern Over Netflix’s Price Hikes
“I canceled my Netflix as well. I’ve had a Netflix account at least 15 years.
“I’m sick of services constantly raising prices. IMO, Hulu is the superior streaming choice.
“I’ll probably pick Netflix back up in 6 months or so and watch whatever I’ve missed,” one Reddit user wrote.
“I think Netflix should give long time subscribers a discount of some kind,” they added.
The disgruntled subscriber wasn’t alone in this thought process.
“I just canceled too. 24 bucks a month is absurd at this point. Much better services for cheaper,” another Netflix user wrote.
Quality Over Quantity?
“Good choice. I’ve cancelled my subscription ages ago because Netflix doesn’t have enough quality content for me to justify the subscription every month.
“Now, if they release season 3 of Kingdom then maybe I’ll reconsider,” said another.
Divided Opinions on Reddit
Other Reddit users took to the forum to stand up for Netflix.
“Since you feel a need to announce your cancellation, I’d like to announce that I’m not canceling Netflix. Thank you,” one wrote.
