Tori Anderson plays Special Agent Kate Whistler for the Defense Intelligence Agency. She is now revealing what the greatest challenge was to her role.
Tori Anderson sat down LooperTo talk about everything NCIS: Hawai’i Recently, the actress spoke out about her experience on the CBS drama. She spoke out about the most difficult part of portraying Kate. The role is not easy.
My biggest challenge is to portray someone who comes off as cold. Naturally, I feel like an empathic person. But Kate is extremely career-driven. She sees the world clearly in black and white and knows exactly what she should do.
It would seem difficult to play a character who is completely opposite the actress portraying her. It’s all part of the charm of acting. I can understand how it would be much easier to play a character with similar feelings and reactions, especially considering the hours that network TV stars spend on their characters.
However, it’s not all hard work. Tori Anderson mentioned that Kate is fun to play, and it appears like Kate will be focusing a lot on the Season 1 episodes.
It’s fun to watch her try to build relationships that go beyond work, and to find the gray areas between people. Although I’m not sure, I believe she was very lonely in her youth. Jane Tennant’s team has inspired her. So, that’s been a really fun aspect to play, — trying to figure out where she fits in with everyone in her team, in Jane’s team.
It will be interesting to see how Kate’s relationships play out as the series goes on. The change from a lonely existence to being part a team of inspiring people is amazing. Tori Anderson looks like she’s having fun figuring out what Kate’s next play is as the show continues to move forward.
Vanessa Lachey recently announced that the long-awaited crossover between The CW and The CW will be happening in future episodes. NCIS NCIS: Hawai’i This will take place on March 28. The crossover was just a matter-of-time, as the shows were paired up on Monday nights. There is not much information available about the crossover. However, we hope that more information will soon be made public.
