TMZ reports that the homeowners found Melanie Rauscher’s body in the guest room upon returning home from their vacation. It was not clear if Melanie Rauscher had ingested the contents of the cans. Prescott Police Department officers reported that there weren’t any obvious signs of foul play. They also didn’t find any drug paraphernalia or suicide notes. Rauscher looked after the dog and he was fine.
The popular reality show on Discovery Channel featured the 35-year old. Naked and Afraid two times — once in 2013 and then on the spinoff Naked and Afraid: XL2015. Jeremy McClaa, a fellow castmate, posted a tribute to his fallen friend on his website. FacebookPage, in memory of Melanie Rauscher, for her friendship & laughter. In the post, he said:
