My co-worker gave her baby exactly the same name as mine – but that’s just the bad part.

DISTRESSED workers didn’t know how to react when a mother revealed that she planned on giving her baby the exact same name as her husband.

Surprisingly this wasn’t the most disturbing part of the story.

A mom apparently decided to call her twin sons the same name with different spelling (these photos don't show the children in the story)

The mom’s coworker took to Reddit, where they could remain anonymous and rant about the situation.

“I cannot believe that there is a split opinion for this at my office, but here we go,”They said.

“After a long struggle with infertility, a coworker of mine had twin boys.

“She made her first appearance at the office with her newborn babies, to introduce them all to our team.

“When asked what she had named the boys (as up until this appearance she was undecided) she told me that she was naming them ‘Sean.'”

Yes, both babies would be called Sean. They would be named Sean and Seen, with one spelling with an “a” and the other with an “e”.

They said, “This coworker’s last names is also Sean.” This was a comment she made when I asked her. She said that it was like Jay Jay or Tom Tom.

The person, caught off guard and without thinking, allegedly told the mother: “That is the most idiotic thing I’ve heard, and it’s going to be so confusing.”

Evidently, everyone around them laughed after the outburst and turned their attention away.

The coworker continued: “After she left, I got a few text messages saying it’s not my place to comment on people’s choice of name.”

However, the messages were not sent by the mom but from coworkers.

The person stated that they have been friends for over 12 year and she replied simply: “It’ll grow on you.”

After this awkward exchange, the parents of the twins reassessed their situation and decided that it wasn’t a good idea for them to name their sons the exact same name.

Update from the coworker: “Despite them having already sent in the paperwork for the birth certificates, they called the office to find that the paperwork was only being provisionally processed (due Xmas), and that they have used this time to reassess.

“They have withdrawn the paperwork (FOR SEEN ONLY) and will think of a new name, but they are keeping Sean Sean as they like it.”

The mom reconsidered and changed one of the boys' names (these photos are not the children in the story)
