MUM was mistakenly denied her passport by officials days before she went on a family vacation to Spain.
Bethany Clarke, 24 had it sent to her in support of the application for her son.
It was not supposed to expire for six more years, but was revalidated.

She said, “When I saw the envelope sticking up the letter box, I thought: “Great. My passport is back.
“I nearly wept when I found the corner missing from my bookcase.
“I was afraid we would have to cancel our holiday, and was in real panic.
She received the passport just days before the family was due to leave on a £4,000 holiday to Marbella.
She and fiancé Eadon Asquith, 25, had to travel 100 miles from their home in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, to Durham and pay £177 to sort it out.
They found another mix-up when they arrived at the hospital, this time it was with her appointment.
She explained that the appointment was supposed be at 2pm. However, they were unable to find my name on their list. Therefore, we had to wait until closing and didn’t see anyone until 6.30pm.
“I am still hopping mad.
“Getting my passport invalidated was the last thing I needed nine days before the holiday we were all looking forward to.”
The Passport Office apologized and stated that it would refund the fee.
