Meat Loaf, an American actor/singer, has passed away at the age of 75.

His death was announced by a statement. Facebook page at midnight on Thursday.He died in the company of his family, but it did not specify a place or cause of death.

Michael Lee Aday was the real name of the performer. He was best known for his best-selling album. “Bat out of Hell”and to act in “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.”

“Our hearts are broken to announce that the incomparable Meat Loaf passed away tonight with his wife Deborah by his side,”Read the statement.

“Daughters Pearl and Amanda and close friends have been with him throughout the last 24 hours.”

“His amazing career spanned 6 decades that saw him sell over 100 million albums worldwide and star in over 65 movies, including ‘Fight Club,’ ‘Focus,’ ‘Rocky Horror Picture Show’ and ‘Wayne’s World,'”It went on.

“‘Bat Out of Hell’ remains one of the top 10 selling albums of all time.”

“We know how much he meant to so many of you and we truly appreciate all of the love and support as we move through this time of grief in losing such an inspiring artist and beautiful man.”

Marvin Lee Aday, Meat Loaf, was born on February 7, 1947 in Dallas. Later, he changed his name to Michael.

His entertainment career started when he relocated to Los Angeles in 1967. He formed a band called Meat Loaf Soul. He was offered a role in the musical “Hair,”In 1973, Broadway finally made it to Broadway. Later Meat Loaf made it to Broadway. “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,”He reprised the role of Dr. Everett Scott and Eddie in the film version.

He released his first album in 1977. “Bat Out of Hell”To great success.

He married Leslie G. Edmonds on December 12, 1978, and they divorced in 2001. He married Deborah Gillespie in 2007.
