Nadia and her Loose Women stars are up for the Best Daytime award in the NTAs. She will not attend if they win.
In a fresh YouTube videoNadia, who was being filmed from her bedside, raised her tickets to show her support and explained that she is too sick to make it to London’s O2 Arena on Thursday night.
“Look what I just got delivered on a bike. It’s very fancy. National Television Awards,”She croaked.
“There it all is. Guess who won’t be going to the National Television Awards?”
Nadia sighed and continued, “I have such a beautiful dress – I have three lovely dresses that I can choose from.”
“My friend Simone was coming by to do my makeup, I was supposed to be driving with Jordan.
“Jane [Moore] and Kaye [Adams] are going. All the girls are going. Party afterwards. Nope.”
Nadia’s announcement follows the withdrawal of Geordie duo Ant & Dec from the NTAs following positive Covid tests.
Nadia, a former EastEnders star, is now speculating if she may have contracted coronavirus despite all her tests being negative.
“It’s just floored me,” Nadia admitted. Nadia admitted that she is convinced that the current tests don’t detect the new Covid strains.
“That’s my opinion, because it’s similar to the way Covid was. You feel better when you first get there and then you just feel worse and you have to go to sleep.
“Yesterday I literally laid in bed staring at the ceiling for three hours. I never do that!”
However, the star, who was once treated with Covid, stated that it was like Kaye [Adams]Nevertheless, what difference does it make at the end?
“Whatever it is, it’s just name isn’t it?”
