London’s Top Tourist Spot Recruits Creepy ‘The Unknown’ Character from Glasgow Willy Wonka Fiasco – Must See Attraction!

Exclusive: Glasgow’s Willy Wonka Disaster Star to Appear at London Dungeon!

A TOP London attraction has announced that one of the stars of the disastrous Glasgow Willy Wonka-themed experience will be making an appearance this year.

The Scottish attraction drew heavy criticism this year when it was labelled a “farce” for its underwhelming offering.

Families forked out hundreds for tickets for the site that promised candy-land style attractions with AI created images on its website.

However, it had to close early after people demanded refunds and the police were called.

One of the attraction’s most infamous elements was a spooky character identified simply as “The Unknown” which was seen in a video emerging from behind a mirror.

Now the actor who played The Unknown at the attraction, Sixteen-year-old Felicia, will be seen this summer at London Dungeon.

Felicia will be putting her experience of scaring children from the Wonka-themed attraction in Glasgow to good use on April 7.

The guest appearance will see aspiring actor Felicia trained up by the best in the business in the art of scare and immersive theatre acting.

She will then take to the depths of the Dungeon herself to perform for thrill seekers and fans.

The London Dungeon is already home to a cast of theatrical actors, special effects, stages, scenes and rides.

They reached out to Felicia to offer her the opportunity to train with the performance team, followed by a guest appearance acting in the attraction, after her first acting gig ended disastrously.

Felicia, who played The Unknown in Willy’s Chocolate Experience said: “I’m a huge fan of The Dungeons across the UK.

“I’ve visited many times as a guest, and I can’t quite believe I now get to be the one who’s scaring the public.

“Who would have thought my wild Wonka experience would have led me to this.

“I’m hoping my recent scare experience will have set me up well for this role – and I cannot wait to meet and learn from the expert team at the London Dungeon as I’d love to be doing their job full time one day.”

A London Dungeon spokesperson said: “Clearly Felicia is a natural when it comes to the art of the scare.

“It’s an honour to be joined by the acting talent behind the now cult character The Unknown – and we can’t wait to see what she’ll bring to our horribly scary historical figures.

“If you think the mysterious character of The Unknown was unnerving, you haven’t seen anything yet.”

Theme Park Tips

  1. Go to the back of the theme park first. Rides at the front will have the longest queues as soon as it opens.
  2. Go on water rides in the middle of the day in the summer – this will cool you off when the sun is at its hottest.
  3. Download the park’s app to track which rides have the shortest queues.
  4. Visit on your birthday, as some parks give out “birthday badges” that can get you freebies.
  5. If it rains, contact the park. Depending on how much it rained, you may get a free ticket to return.

It seems as if Felicia won’t be asked to reprise her starring role, with something else planned for the actor at the Dungeons.

The spokesperson continued: “While we can’t say there will be any mirrors involved in Felicia’s training and guest appearance this Easter, what we can promise is there won’t be an AI script or advert in sight.

“The team can’t wait to welcome her to their ranks.”

It’s not the only spooky attraction making changes this year.

Alton Towers

From this summer, the Autumn Towers Dungeon will be closing before being reimagined as something else for the park’s annual autumn Scarefest.

Meanwhile, Hex: Legend of the Towers is also making a comeback after being closed for most of the 2022 and 2023 seasons.

The immersive walkthrough experience has been furnished with brand new special effects and new branding, which will “take the twisted tale to the next level”.

Meanwhile, theme park visitors have been warned about making these mistakes.
