Kylie Minogue’s Las Vegas residency sells out as fans crash website due to epic demand

KYLIE Minogue’s Las Vegas debut residency has been in high demand. Her first series of shows sold out just hours after going on sale.

First ten tickets for the Australian singer-songwriter, aged 55, will be available on Tuesday. She is set to begin her first tour of Sin City in November.

The website was temporarily taken down by the demand of fans from around the globe.

For what will be Kylie’s most intimate gigs in over a decade, prices start at at $200 (£170) for standing tickets, rising up to $2000 for bottle service tables.

It was insane, a source told me. It was crazy.

Kylie has been a big artist for years in Europe, the UK and Australia. But American was always the one country she had yet to conquer. If the last 24 hours are any indication she finally did it.

The Spinning Around Singer will be setting up camp in the exclusive Voltaire venue inside The Venetian Tower.

This venue is themed as a cabaret and can only hold 1,000 fans.

Teasing the shows, Kylie told Central Recorder last month: “It’s been like literal blood, sweat and tears. All of these things: bruises, insomnia, and more.

“But the pay-off and what keeps me going is there’s a moment in a show where you feel like you are weightless or you’re surfing.

“I’ve always thought that shows are a cosmic thing because we come with energy and the fans come with energy.

“They’ve got their babysitter, they’re taking the time off work, they’re spending their hard-earned money to come to a show or they have dressed up.

“They come with so much energy before the curtains are raised. They’re really amazing. So the blood, sweat and tears is all worth it.”

Kylie has been playing to packed-out crowds in arenas all over the world for decades. She has sold 80 million records.

After the pandemic, her plans for a world tour were put on hold.

Central Recorder was the first to report that Kylie had secret discussions to join Britney Spears, Sir Elton John and other celebrities in Las Vegas.

Kylie’s Las Vegas show will not be focused on the new album, but rather a collection of all her greatest hits.

Padam Padam will feature on the list of songs, as well as Vegas High from their upcoming album.

Padam Padam, Kylie Minogue’s latest hit in the UK has become her biggest UK chart entry since 2011.
