Unhappy Kroger shopper took Twitter to vent his frustrations.

Blake, also known as @Thevernond, is a social media user. PostThe caption includes shocking photos of the store “@kroger I hate you.”

The first photo shows a lot of checkout lanes inside the store, none of which seem to be open.

The second image shows a line of shoppers waiting to use self-checkout. This suggests that not all shoppers were forced to use this controversial self-service option.

Kroger replied to Blake’s tweet and offered an apology.

“We expect sufficient lanes to be open, staffed with cashiers and baggers available to assist customers during all business hours,”According to the grocery chain.

“Please provide the store location so we can share your feedback with leadership.”

Blake responded to the tweet by saying: “Snitches get stitches.”

Kroger was contacted by The U.S. Sun to comment on the issue.

This is after Albertsons fans were horrified to hear that Kroger and Albertsons had merged.

Multiple shoppers and financial specialists took to Twitter and Facebook to condemn the $24.6 million merger, which is expected to unite more than 2,700 Krogers and 2,200 Albertsons grocery store across the United States.

“I actually don’t think this a good idea, I think Albertsons should remain independent and continue to grow on their own without being part of Kroger,”TikToker Adam Lee who using the username “The Highest Return.”

Lee also mentioned that Kroger is a less successful model than Albertsons overall.

“I still don’t think it’s a good idea for Albertsons to sell to Kroger,”He stated.

“This combined entity, if it came together, would have almost $20 billion in long term debt, assuming there’s no massive refinancing as part of this,”Gildenberg stated that he didn’t expect massive store renovations because of the change.

Gildenberg also noted that Instacart and other delivery companies would suffer from the merger, since Kroger is heavily focused on omnichannel grocery sales.

Friday Deals will not include 375 stores. They will instead be used to “create a new, agile competitor,”Kroger said.

As one expert said, the merger could result in people going without grocery stores.
