Moviegoers can count upon Dwayne Johnson (a.k.a. The Rock will release a new blockbuster every few months. His passion project Black AdamThis seems to be the case. Producing hit after hit can sometimes lead to projects falling through the cracks. Johnson appeared to have realized this when he spoke with Kelly Clarkson. He shocked Clarkson by telling a sex tape joke regarding his wife and him.
The Rock and his co stars were promoting Black Adam. The Kelly Clarkson Show. Clarkson started asking the cast questions via Twitter. The first question was innocent enough, just asking Johnson what the DC anti-hero’s favorite movie from the actor’s filmography would be. The unexpected happened as the Black Adam star gave a risqué response to the fan question.
Uh, I made one movie with my wife. Sorry, no. Nevermind.
The Rock was able to control his temper before it got out of control. Even his co-stars were thrown off by his NSFW joke, that’s one blockbuster moviegoers didn’t know they may need on the movie star’s acting resume. He was only kidding.
You don’t get those types of jokes on daytime television, which is why Clarkson’s reaction was pure gold. It was wonderful to watch the television personality slowly understand what he had said. Initially, the risqué joke didn’t register with her, but once it did, she took off from her chair from sheer shock. The entertainer couldn’t handle Johnson talking about sexy times on her show. This realization made it clear that the Grammy winner was a good sport.
Kelly Clarkson asked The Rock for a serious answer after she had calmed down. She even suggested one of his best-known franchises – Jumanji. Johnson agreed to his former coach’s answer, and he retorted. The Voice. Johnson and company seemed to have made it all better as they went back to promoting this superhero movie.
Black Adam’s promotional run has been filled with twists and turns. Dwayne Johnson recruited Kevin Hart, his off-screen and on-screen best friend, to the promotion with a hilarious Instagram clip. The crowd-surfed baby was captured at one event, after Dwayne Johnson revealed the Darth Vader-esque movie themes in his Iron Paradise. The Rock has done everything possible to ensure that his passion project is a box office hit. Let’s hope things pay off for Black AdamIts star, as the critic response has been mixed.
